Coles Cemetery Index
Sherman Township, Clark Co., WI
This cemetery is well maintained but is
very old. Many of the stones are difficult to read. 1941
is the last burial date and1875 is the first. It is located .1 miles
south of Highway 98 on County Highway Y. It is on the left next
to the Town Hall and garage on Willard Road. Some old obituaries
noted these burials as being next to "Cole's Schoolhouse".

**Our data was obtained
from a cemetery walk through by Ken Wood. If you have
additions or corrections,
please contact us. If you can not find a desired obituary in the ALHN
database to verify the entry, you may wish to order a micro-film of
a Neillsville newspaper from the time frame you are researching. The
available newspapers can
be requested from the Wisconsin State Historical through your local
library. Please consider submitting any newly acquired items to the
ALHN Records Board. If you have a bit of extra time, why not type a
few unrelated items as a random act of kindness to future researchers?
