The Girls' Glee Cub, organized and directed by Miss Kelly and accompanied by
Marie Matkovich, has accomplished splendid work during the past year.
The 30 girls met two days a week for 45 minute rehearsals. Some of the songs the girls have been working on are:
Syncopated Lullaby--Clarence Sinn
To a Wild Rose--Hagedorn--MacDowell
Memories--Lehar--Parks
Little Grey Home in the West--Lohr
Sundown--arrangement by Ira Wilson
On December 17, the club sang at a band concert sponsored by the school and held at the Opera House, in co-operation with the Greenwood Commercial club.
The club, which has proved to be a success, was much enjoyed by all the members, who are planning on an even more successful season next year.
