Greenwood Elementary recently held a Penny War to help raise money for the local food pantry.  The total raised was $1,321.66, which is $174.49 more than last year. The class that raised the most money was Scott Schiller’s sixth-grade.  Deb Ortner, Greenwood deputy clerk (far left), accepted the check for the food pantry.  Standing with the class is teacher Scott Schiller (far right).  (Contributed photo)
