Edmond's School
Eaton Twp., Clark Co., WI
Contributed by Arlene Peil.
Edmonds school taken the spring of 1893
Eaton Twp., Clark Co., Wisconsin
This one room country school was located 2 miles
from Greenwood (Probably southeast of Greenwood in Section 12 as that is where the Cooks, Mathisons and Stonebergs all lived).
I think this picture was sent to my dad, Arley Burel Mathison, by his uncle,
Harrison Cook, since it was mailed from Bellingham, WA and that is where Uncle
Harrison lived when I was little. The original picture is 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 and only cost 2
cents (!) to mail to Milwaukie, Oregon. Did you notice, I can see shoes on
only 3 children?
