The Junior High Home Economics teacher, Mrs. Frost, started an FHA Club.
The Newly organized club has sixty-two members.
This year the girls took turns bringing and selling candy at noon hours
on Wednesday. Every month they also had a party. With the help of the
Lions Club, the FHA sponsored a Halloween party.
The Sweetheart Dance was also sponsored by the Junior High FHA. The
Senior High dance band played for a while; later records were played.
This was a girl ask boy dance. Beverly Wall, Queen, chose John Gehrke as
King. Attendants were Nona Paulson, Jack Jalling, Mary Cattanach, and
Jim Carlsen.
