HISTORY OF THE LUPIENT FAMILY
Contributed By: Sandra H. Coggeshall
Lupients have lived in the state of Wisconsin since the first decade of the 1800s. This article will trace how they arrived in Wisconsin and specifically in Clark County. It also relates historical facts about the family and co-lateral family lines.

I would be happy to hear from any Lupient descendant who might have corrections and/or additions to this information. Direct descendants may also be interested in more information I have on the Lupien/Lupient and co-lateral family lines.
For several years now, I've been corresponding by e-mail with an Irish cousins that I met on the Internet, Michael Cushing. I'm related to him through my great grandfather, Gabriel Adolphus Lupient. Gabriel married Mary Frances Cushing. His great-grandfather was Mary Frances' brother. If you are also related to this family, you may want to visit the wonderful web site he has created at: http://www.cushings.com/roots/
