Here are few mystery photos I got from my cousin, Archie Johnstone, who died earlier this year. Unfortunately he had forgotten who these photos are of -- I think many of them were from either my great-grandparents Engebretson or from his mother, Annie Engebretson Johnstone. The one of the two younger women with two younger men in what looks like some sort of uniform has "Harry Palms" lightly penciled on the back. One has "Andreas" written on the back, but the rest are not labeled. Maybe someone out there can recognize a family member and clear up some of these mysteries.
I'm also sending a photo labeled "Farmer's Festival 1912 - Withee" -- notice one man dressed as "Uncle Sam" and a sign on one building saying, "Mertens Meat Market. I would appreciate any help I can get in identifying these old pictures.
Photo #1: Two younger women with men in some sort of uniform.
"Harry Palms" is lightly penciled on the reverse side of the picture.
Photo #2: This picture has "Andreas" written on the back.
Photo #3: Unknown woman.
