STORM WRECKS BARN, KILLS CATTLE IN CLARK COUNTY
A violent windstorm early Sunday night battered the Longwood area in northwestern Clark County. Heaviest damage was reported on the farm of Mrs. Walter Ruggles, where a barn (top photo) collapsed while the owner and her 20-year- old son, Jerry, were inside the building. Both escaped unhurt, but 10 of the 19 cows in the barn were killed by failing timbers and others were injured. Volunteer rescue workers are pictured below assisting injured and trapped animals from the debris. (News- Herald Photos)
These are pictures of other tornados that hit Clark County at different times.
