After the death of Ervin, Rose married Ervin's brother, Frank.

Laura was married previously to Frederick Mueller of Blue Earth, MN. Katherine and Margaret are their daughters. When Frederick Mueller died in 1904, Laura came to live with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fierke, who had moved to the Town of Mayville in 1901 (later the Guth farm). There she met and married Carl Plockelman. Following their marriage they lived on a farm in the Town of Mayville (later Marvin's farm) until 1947 when they moved to Abbotsford.

Did not marry; last 20 years of her life she made her home with half-brother, Ernest Hofmann in Town of Mayville (lived next to Hilltop School).

Operated a garage and service station in Dorchester for many years and farmed in town of Mayville; employed a number of years by the Skerbeck Amusement Co.; World War I veteran;

Died May 3, 1965.

John and Anna moved to Stetsonville in 1895. After the death of John Pudleiner, Anna married Robert Hofmann and family moved to farm 4½ miles northwest of Dorchester. Anna and Robert had three children together. About 1925 John, Jr. moved to his own farm. Died from gunshot.

John worked as a farm hand, millwright and carpenter in Dorchester area most of his life. He lived in Gardenia, N.D. for awhile.
Louise Braun was born December 4, 1889.
Employed by Midway Telephone Co. as an operator more than 35 years. Started in Dorchester office in 1948; from 1956, she worked as an information operator from her home. Did not marry.
