THE WILLIAM NAGEL FAMILY

 

 

William Nagel moved to Abbotsford from Loyal in Clark County in April, 1920 as a retired farmer. He came to the United States from Germany at the age of thirteen. Mrs. Nagel was born in Rubicon, near Milwaukee. When the family moved to Abbotsford, including three daughters, Margaret, Lucille and Florence, they purchased the Tabor home on Third and Maple streets. William Nagel Mr. Nagel worked with H. H. Fiebig, moving homes, until he had a foot injury. After that, he became village Marshall for several years. He was also employed for several years by the Northern States Power Co. William Nagel, after five years of illness, died in February of 1945. Mrs. Nagel died in August of 1949, after two weeks of illness.
