Berger, William & Eva
The business in Abbotsford known for many years as Berger’s Northland Henneries
was owned and operated by William Berger.
Born April 6, 1894, in Oshkosh, he came to Abbotsford in 1922 where he farmed
northwest of the town until 1929, when he became a salesman for Schreiber
Milling and Grain of Minneapolis.
His business was sold in 1948 to Frank Brodhagen, who still operates an egg
processing plant east of Abbotsford.
He and his wife, the former Eva Rebecca Johnson, had three daughters, Ruth,
Marguerite and Eva Marie.
