Milan Items

Miss Leona Westphal spent the past week with Mrs. Archie Craffunder at Park Falls.

Mrs. Max Schaefer, Stetsonville, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Rheinhold Schaefer during the week end.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Ventzke, Wausau, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Denzin Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rothemberger, Rib Falls, spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Helena Bunde.

Mr. and Mrs. Cook, Wausau, visited at the home of Mrs. Cook’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dake, Sunday.

Mrs. Stephen Price was operated on at the Marshfield hospital Saturday. Her husband is staying at Marshfield for several days.

Mrs. Ernest Kramer returned to Spirit Lake Sunday after spending a week at her home.

Clyde Strebe was called back from Camp McCoy on account of the serious illness of his wife.

Verna Stelzl and her cousin, Robert Engle, Milwaukee, spent the week end with the Charles Engle family at Lake Wisota.

Frank Hablinck and family, Two Rivers, spent the week end at the John Schreiber home.

Now is the time to paint – Good weather and with right prices at Gamble Stores. Outside White, $1.69 gal., 5 gal. lots. Red Barn, 98 cents – 4” brush, 98 cents.

Dr. and Mrs. J. B. Houlehan, Green Bay, spent the week end here with Mrs. Robert Prentice, Mrs. Robert Wilkins and children, who have spent the last month here with her mother, returned to Green Bay with them for a week’s visit before returning to her home in Chicago.

Albert Fasse, Anton Prehan and Tony Vesely were cherry picking at Sturgeon Bay Friday and Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Anton Boeger spent Sunday at Rib Falls.

Mrs. William Calose, Berry Lake, spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Fred Redman and sister, Mrs. Helena Bunde.

Vernon Schmidt, with his uncle, Edwin Zillman, Colby, spent the week end at
