Thursday, 1 Oct. 1936 ----Milan - Oct. 1, 1936 Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Bauermann of Sandborn, Minn., spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Nehring. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zillmann, of Colby, visited at the Charles Schmidt home, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Anton Peham spent the week-end at the home of the latter’s sister, Mrs. Herman Zell and family at Marshfield. Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Ellingson and granddaughter Adell, spent Sunday with the Elmer Erickson family at Shawano. Mrs. Erickson and daughter will leave soon for Phoenix, Ariz. Lavern Zell visited at Appleton, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hannemann accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hannemann of Edgar, attended the funeral of Wm. Kopps at Cameron, Sunday. They also visited at the Helmuth Deuysen home at Chetek. Mr. and Mrs. George Blank spent Sunday with the Elmer Heckmann family at Unity. Mr. and Mrs. John Haderlein, Mrs. Frank Haderlein and Mrs. R. W. Haderlein were Wausau callers, Thursday. Miss Melba Mundt, Chili, spent the week-end with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Riedel. Rev. and Mrs. George Groh attended the funeral of Mrs. O. G. Krause at Stetsonville, Wednesday. Mesdames Clara Emerling, Stella Wegge and Ray Schwerman, Burlington, visited at the M. C. Ellingson home from Thursday until Sunday. F. F. Marquardt and family attended a birthday party at Unity, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George Jacobs, Madison, visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Haderlein, Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Woempner celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Benzman celebrated their thirty-third wedding anniversary at the Fred Woempner home at Dorchester, Sunday.
