Thursday, 31 Dec. 1936 Milan Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Widner and Mrs. Stover, Wausau, visited at the Arthur Miller home, Monday. Eunice and Harold Miller returned with them for a weeks visit. Albert Ertmoed and family moved to Pekin, Ill., last week. Ben Wiskow and family of Aniwa, spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Wiskow’s brother, Werner Schaefer and family. Miss Melba Hein, Chicago, is spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Hein. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Tonn, Milwaukee, returned to their home Monday, after several days visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Marquardt. Galen Schmidt, of Baudette, Minn., stopped to spend the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schmidt, while on his way back from a meeting of engineers at Little Rock, Arkansas. Wilmer Spears and family and Albert Lehman and family of Athens, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Miller, Sunday. Miss Elsie Haderlein arrived here from Chicago, Thursday, for several weeks visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Haderlein. Mrs. L. E. Kisten and daughter Jeanette, Kenosha, spent the holidays at the home of the former’s daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Haderlein. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eskritt spent Christmas day with relatives at Stevens Point. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Moss, Endeavor, called on Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Schmidt, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Max Bond, Eau Claire, were dinner guests at the L. D. Fletcher home on Christmas Day. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schmidt accompanied by their son Galen, visited at the Alfred and Oscar Herrmann homes at Colby and Wm. Herrmann and family at Curtiss, Friday.
