SPENCER, WISCONSIN LOCAL NEWS

Mr. and Mrs. Nichols of Sparta visited their brother, Dr. D. C. Miller, and family last week.

Mrs. Liebig and two children of Medford were guests of Mrs. D. Bodle last Tuesday.

A. L. Boock and wife entertained his mother and sister from New Ulm, Minnesota last week.

Miss Ina Damon is assisting at the Fair Store for a few days.

Eilart Kotenberg of Waupun spent Sunday in Spencer with friends.

Mrs. Harry Prehn of Milwaukee came Thursday to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Blake.

Mrs. H. Ebbs and daughter, Mrs. Aug. Tessmer, left Wednesday to visit at Mayville and Horicon.

Roy Crawshaw spent a few days at Fond du Lac, Wild Rose, and Waukesha, returning Monday.

Lynn Lundgren of Spokeville spent a couple of days here with his brother, Almon, last week.

A. Masolnek of Fair-water came Saturday morning to assist his son-in-law in their Fair Store during the sale.

Austin McIllhattan, assistant bank cashier, went to Grey Eagle, Minnesota Friday to spend a weeks vacation.

Miss Mary Hagan of Stevens Point called on Spencer friends last Tuesday. She went to Rib Lake Wednesday.

J. B. Kolsta of Fond du Lac spent Saturday and Sunday here with his family at the home of his sister, Mrs. F. A, Soles.

Mrs. E. G. Ingham and daughter Vera went to Tioga Wednesday to visit her son Mac and his wife. They will also visit at Mondovi.

Mr. and Mrs. Foster McIllhattan came down from Ladysmith Saturday night. Foster returned the next night but his wife remained to visit relatives.

Mrs., Roy Holmes and two children returned to their home at Fond du Lac Monday after spending a few weeks with relatives at Spencer and unity.

C. M. Vamey loaded his car of household goods Monday and accompanied by his wife and daughter will drive thru to Terrill, Iowa, with his auto this week.

H. E. Crosby and wife were guests of Mrs. Crosby's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L, Duygart, last Wednesday. Mr. Crosby was transferred from Mellen to Curtiss and is now the depot agent at the latter place.

Harry Manny, the brakeman who was injured in the yards here last February, spent a few hours in town Wednesday while on the way to his home at Medford. fie returned to the Marshfield hospital the next day
