Last Week's Items.
Miss Rispa Crowell spent Sunday with Unity friends.
B. J. Landaal went to Wausau Monday to serve on the jury.
Miss Julia Hubert visited relatives at Unity last week.
Will Martin left Sunday for a two weeks visit at Park Falls and Butternut.
Harry Harvey of Colby comes to Spencer once a week to give instructions on the violin.
Miss Maude Damon came home from Curtis Saturday morning to remain over Sunday.
Misses Ethyl and Delia Hogue and Mae Reas did shopping at Marshfield Saturday.
Mrs. W. G. Hinmann of Marshfield spent Thursday forenoon with Mrs. C. K. Richardson.
Mrs. Elmer Smith and daughter of Eau Claire visited over Sunday with her sister Mrs. F. A. Soles.
Earl Daugherty returned home from Boscobel where be went to attend the funeral of his grandmother.
Mrs. Hogue and daughter Delia of Greenwood came last week to spend a few days with Miss Ethyl Hogue.
Jeff. Genett Jr. was married at Cloquet, Minnesota sometime in January. He is the second son of Jeff Genett, Sr. of this place.
John Philippi returned to his duties as night agent last week having recovered from the attack of inflammatory rheumatism.
Olin Varney and sister arrived from Iowa Thursday. The former returned to his Iowa home but the girl remained here with her father, C. H Varney.
Lincoln's birthday was observed in Spencer by a program at the school in the afternoon and a Lincoln program at the M. W. A. hall Friday evening.
Miss Ina Damon went to Rock Falls Friday to assist E. G. Ingham is taking inventory in his store. Mr. Ingham has sold his stock and with his family will return to Spencer the middle of the month. Their many friends will be glad to welcome them back.
