Monday, 23 Feb. 1970 ----Schultz, Ella (11 Jan. 1884 – 20 Feb. 1970) STRATFORD – Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today (Monday) at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in March Rapids for Mrs. Otto Schultz, 86, of the town of Eau Pleine, who died Friday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she was a patient for five days. The Rev. Karl Schroeder, pastor, officiated, and burial was made in the Zion Lutheran cemetery at Stratford. Pallbearers were Jerry Davel, Carl and Gary Schultz, Allen Fellenz Jr., Larry Offer and Terry Fellenz. The former Ella Teske was born Jan. 11, 1884, in Auburndale, and was married there Dec. 27, 1906, to Otto Schultz, who preceded her in death March 2, 1967. The couple came to Stratford in 1929 and lived here until 1957, when they moved to the town of Eau Pleine, where they lived with their son, Otto Schultz Jr. Survivors include three sons, Henry, town of Frankfort; Harry, Wausau, and Otto Jr., town of Eau Pleine; three daughters, Mrs. John (Viola) Offer, Wausau; Mrs. Arthur (Evelyn) Davel, Stratford, and Mrs. Allen (Helen) Fellenz, Marshfield; 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Teske, Park Falls, and Henry Teske, Auburndale; and a sister, Mrs. Lena Schultz, Robbinsdale, Minn. |
