Funeral services were held Aug. 23 at Abiding Presence Church and burial was in Mt. Avon Cemetery, Rochester, Mich. She was born and reared in Spencer. While living with her husband in this area, she taught elementary grades in Marathon County and was a postal clerk at the Fenwood Post Office. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Peterson of Rochester, Mich.; a son, Russell of Corvallis, Ore.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. *** Note: Her date of birth is from the Social Security Death Index.
