Wednesday, 25 June 1997 ----Karlen, Mary Irene (30 July 1944 - 22 June 1997) MARATHON - Mary Irene (Tieman) Karlen, 52, Tucson, Ariz., died June 22, 1997, at her home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marathon. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Kraemer Funeral Home and again from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. She was born July 30, 1944, in Winamac, Ind., and was a cashier at the Old Tucson Studios. She is survived by her husband, David Karlen of Tucson; a daughter, Rosetta Karlen of San Diego; and two brothers, Lewis Tieman of Orange Park, Fla., and Gene (Laurie) Tieman of Edgar. |
