Jerome M. “Jerry” Knoll, 58, Curtiss, formerly of Little Rose, died on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
Jerry was born on May 13, 1951 in Marshfield, the son of Edward and Stella (Zaleski) Knoll, Sr.
He was a 1969 graduate of Stratford High School. He had farmed in the Town of Eau Pleine and then was employed at Central Silo in Edgar. At the present time he was employed at Cloverdale Equipment in Curtiss.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Annette Raschke of Marshfield, Anne Knoll of Milwaukee, Susie (John) Burish of Marathon, Arlene (Wally) Stencil of Edgar, Pat (Floyd) Hamus of Marshfield, Benny (Rhonda) Knoll of Stratford and Allie (Diane) Knoll of Stratford. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Cathie Knoll of Stratford, many nieces and nephews and special friends, the Marlin Martin family, especially Marcus and Jaleen.
He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Eddie and Clem Knoll; brothers-in-law, Ernie Raschke and Ervin Stencil; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Knoll; two nephews, Mark and Jim Knoll; and a niece, Tammy Hornung.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Stratford. Rev. Thomas Rudolph will preside and music will be provided by St. Joseph’s Resurrection Choir. Burial will take place in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery and nephews will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sauter-Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. A parish prayer service will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home.
