Emma Notbohm was born Feb. 9, 1867, at Watertown.  She received her education there.  Her marriage to William J. Roder, who preceded her in death, took place April 16, 1890, at Hebron.  She moved to Abbotsford in about 1943.  She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.  At the age of 97, she moved from Abbotsford.  She made her home with her daughte, Mrs. Ferd Tim.  She passed away six weeks before reaching the age of 100 in 1966.
