HISTORY OF NORTHERN WISCONSIN 

MARATHON COUNTY, Wis. 1881

 


 

Was Originally settled by Germans in 1856-87. It is on the Big Rib River, west of Wausau; has mills and village appurtenances. The Catholic Church was dedicated in October, 1877. It has 150 inhabitants.
