This place is on the Big Eau Claire. It is
known as Schofield’s Mills. The mill here is now under the general
management of C. P. Haseltine. There are two rotaries, two gang
edgers, a shingle, lath and picket mill. Lumber each day, 75,000;
shingles, 30,000; laths, 10,000.
