History: This border community of Clark County, Wisconsin was designated when a post office was authorized for it on February 11, 1878. John Marcus as the first acting postmaster. The office continued at that location until October 12, 1888 when service ceased. November 26, 1889, it was reopened and Ferdinand J. Thrun served as the new postmaster. It was permanently discontinued July 5, 1892, when mail service was supplied from the Spencer, Wisconsin facility.

Location: NW 1/4 of Section 30, T27N R2E in the Township of Brighton Marathon Co., WI at the Intersection of Highways 153 and 13, Town of Brighton, Marathon County.
