.  First and second graders from the Fourth Ward School took part in a Maypole dance in exercises at the Adler Theature here June 16, 1898.  The dancers were, left to right, front row, Della Morel, Nellie Moran, Hattie Zuelke, Ida Mangolod; second row, Ruth Semmens, Amanda Zuelke, Hazel Hoffman, Ela Eggebrecht; third row, Olive Paine, Edith Miller, Ida Weber, Enola Headstream;  back row, Marie Sexton, Irma Hageman, Edna Arthur and Fannie Cole. (This is the way the newspaper caption lists them)
