In its brief history, much has been accomplished. A nursery program was started and is conducted each Sunday during the morning service. A sand box was built and placed in the basement for the children. In the spring of 1952, the members assumed the obligation of redecorating the interior of the church. Other special projects have been carried out by this organization within the community and the church.
The aim of this couples club is to promote the welfare of the church and its over-all program, to promote fellowship and spiritual growth among the young couples of the congregation and community, and to strengthen family ties through planned activities.
The present membership is about twenty-seven couples. Regular meetings are held on the second Sunday evening of every month. Any member of the church and their friends are welcome to join or participate in any of the activities. A “Game Dinner” is given each year with the members furnishing the “wild game.”
