Dedicates edifice in January
Neillsville Assembly of God Church formerly Zion Evangelical Reformed Church
At this writing plans are made for the dedication of the Neillsville Assembly of God Church on January 24th (1964). Property was purchased this past spring and the congregation has enjoyed the facilities which have been so greatly needed.
For many years efforts were made to establish a work in this town by a number of pioneer preachers. Brother and Sister Verlyn Nelson came to Neillsville from Minnesota in early 1961 and are the present pastors of the flock. Services were held in the basement of a local bank building (Neillsville Bank) until the present property was obtained. God has blessed and the Sunday school has averaged 60 this past year.
