Plans being made for Library History Room
By Peter Spicer
Plans are being made to add a history room to the Neillsville Public Library.
The Neillsville Public Library Board discussed at a Nov. 5 meeting adding an addition to the library to preserve historical documents.
Board members agreed there is a need for a history room and then discussed how to start the project. Board member Nancy Kopp was appointed as Library Board representative; she will form a committee to establish the type of addition needed and discuss how to start the fundraising process.
Community resident Bill Roberts, who would like to donate over 1,000 historical images to the history room, volunteered for the committee.
