Volunteers’ efforts improve MMC patient care
Neillsville Memorial Medical Center (MMC) volunteers were hard at work this year and already donated several items to MMC.
The MMC Partners recently donated a headlight system; which a light is attached to a head band surgeons wear. The partners also donated a fruit basket to Sunset Gardens Assisted Living residents, welcoming them to their new residence.
The donation totaled approximately $2,000, which was raised through several fundraisers, including book fairs, basket raffles; bake sales and MMC lobby Gift Shoppe earnings.
The MMC Auxiliary recently donated new curtains and bedspreads for all hospital rooms. The donation was approximately $8,000 and made possible through thrift shop funds.
