The Highground Bicycle Tour Journey’s End Celebration, at noon August 7

Bicyclists from Appleton, New Richmond, Madison, Racine, Hayward and Dubuque, IA, will come together at The Highground at noon Sunday, Aug. 7, for their Journey’s End Celebration.

Flags will be flown along the roadway leading into the plaza to greet the riders as they peddle into The Highground.  Approximately 250 riders will have pedaled approximately 1,250 miles prior to arriving at The Highground.  Following a short ceremony where each of the routes will receive awards for the top fundraisers, a picnic lunch will be served to all of the bicyclists, families and support people.

Join in the celebration welcoming back the bicyclists and their support groups on this 27th year for the annual Bicycle Tour.  This ride always proves to be the top fundraising event during the year and a great day at The Highground.
