Cub Scouts help out at The Highground

Neillsville Cub Scouts from Den 5 Pack 43 recently visited The Highground for community service projects.

The Highground appreciated the boys (mothers and fathers) helping with raking.

The Highground?s Work Week was held at the end of April, but snow fell on one of those spring days. Therefore, most of the raking and trail work could not be completed this year.

The Cub Scouts were a welcomed group the following week with rakes in hand.  The Highground still has more work to be completed for groups that can spend some time at The Highground and want to help The Highground prepare for the busy season ahead.  Call The Highground at 715-743-4224.

The raking was part of a Cub Scouts community service project.  The raking was not completed during The Highground?s Spring Work Week, held in April, because of inclement weather.
