Students attend Highground Diversity Day

A total of 128 students visited The Highground Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, for Diversity Day.
Neillsville Middle School, Abbotsford Alternative School, Granton Area Schools and home schooled students enjoyed Diversity Day, a unique education-filled day. The students became part of The Highground?s mission of healing and education.
Considering the wealth of cultural resources in north central Wisconsin, Diversity Day included presentations by Bill Snedic, Slovenian culture; David Koch, Center for Independent Living; Joan Johannes, Native American; Carol Bender, Swedish folk art; Don Streiff, forestry guide; David Radtke, Pomerania-German; and Timothy Vue, Hmong.
