Highground DVD filming completed

Chris Edman, John Edman and Chris Farley of MDR Video in Apple Valley, MN, were at The Highground from Friday, June 10, through Sunday, June 12, filming a DVD for The Highground.

So many have asked about the DVD, which will be at The Highground this fall. It was an exciting three days while Chris, John and Chris filmed The Highground and everything that comes with it. They were literally at The Highground before sunrise and after sunset.

The first day included videoing all tributes and hiking trails. The second day included interviews with 10 veteran volunteers and Highground Volunteer General Manager Kirk Rodman. 

The third day included the crew videoing the Flag Day Celebration and portions of a Korean and Legacy Stone ceremony. Throughout those days, staff and volunteers were captured on video doing what they do best.    

Before leaving Sunday, Chris and a pilot flew over The Highground to obtain aerial shots of the plaza.

“Life (Captured)” were the words printed on crew t-shirts.  Those two words say it all.  The Highground staff looks forward to viewing the final videos; everyone will soon be able to purchase the video at The Highground’s gift shop.

Chris, John and Chris were recognized for completing the project for The Highground.
