In honoring the service of men and women in wars past and present, Veterans Day programs reach across the generations 

In the afternoon program at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park, old soldiers, including those suited up in their uniforms from long ago or those marching in the Neillsville Color Guard, came to the veterans memorial park to honor fallen comrades, not only of their generation but also those paying the ultimate sacrifice in the ongoing war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
