Bryan family honors Donald Bryan

Saturday, Aug. 27, the family of Donald Bryan presented him with a Legacy Stone. Statements written on his honor letters for the Registry Book (a record of the story behind the stone – the rest of the story) include many from Bryan’s children and grandchildren:

“I’m gonna be like Grandpa, I’m joining the Army to be a Ranger” – Logan

“Thanks so much for serving our country and the many sacrifices you made for our country and for men.  I love you for all you did and do” – Jackie

“Donny, thank you for serving our country; sharing your experience of how important it is to serve – you have inspired all” – Ashley

Everyone in attendance could see the pride Bryan has for his family, country and the wonderful gift he received of a Legacy Stone. Come to The Highground to read more of his story and other stories in the Registry Books located in the Learning Center Library.  These are fascinating stories of those who have placed their stone and created a true legacy here at The Highground.

If interested in honoring loved one with a Legacy Stone, Mediation Stone or Korean Tribute Stone, contact The Highground at 715-742-4224 for more information. Stone applications are now being taken for 2012’s ceremonies.  Stones are available for veterans, non-veterans, organizations and clubs.
