The Highground receives new furnace
The Highground recently received a grant from the Lennox Company to purchase a new furnace. The Highground Volunteer General Manager Kirk Rodman (right) poses with Dale Borreson (left) of Dale’s Refrigeration and Dottie Pacetti (center) of Lennox. (Contributed Photo)
When in trouble, where do people go? That’s the question that went through everyone’s mind at The Highground when the repair man said the furnace for the Timberframe had a bad heat exchanger and needed to be replaced.
The second bid was a little under the first bid, and the recommendation was to call friend Dale Borreson of Dale’s Refrigeration and Heating of Black River Falls. When Borreson looked everything over, he said The Highground may be able to get a grant from the Lennox Company, because The Highground is a nonprofit veteran’s organization.
Dottie Pacetti at Lennox said a nonprofit veterans group, such as The Highground, could receive a new two-stage furnace at no charge. The Highground’s friends at Lennox are also working on a program to assist deployed veterans’ families who are experiencing heating problems.
Call a Lennox dealer for information. The Highground acknowledges its appreciation to Borreson for introducing them to Pacetti and Lennox, who are now friends to The Highground.
