Pamida give to Highground, food pantry

Bill Zarak (center), manager of the Neillsville Pamida Store, last week presented two checks on behalf of the Pamida foundation which was established to support community causes.  One check in the amount of $500 was given to the Neillsville Food Pantry, represented by manager Jody Conner (left).  Another check for $1,000 was presented to Kirk Rodman, volunteer general manager of The Highground, located west of Neillsville, as part of the funding needed for the design and construction of the “Fountain of Tears” statuary that will be placed at the veterans’ memorial park in the future.
