Tenth Annual Highground Ride to Remember

Motorcycle Rally set for August 20, 2010

The Highground’s Ride to Remember Motorcycle Rally dedicates itself to remembering veterans, POWs and MIAs.  The Friday night, Aug. 20, opening ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. at The Highground.

That ceremony will touch the hearts and souls of all participants as only a shared experience on The Highground can. Following the ceremony, people are invited to come to Tufts’ Mansion for live music with Front Porch Swing from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 21, registration begins at 10 a.m. at WCCN Pavilion, Neillsville.  There are three guided rides that depart at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. Saturday’s ride will provide the best a day on your bike has to offer.  A procession to The Highground at 3 p.m. follows, where a celebration picnic makes the day complete.  Add the element of honoring those whose service makes this country’s way of life possible. This rally is an event you won’t want to miss.

For more information and pre-registration, contact The Highground at 715-743-4224 or e-mail at highgrnd@tds.net.   For additional information and registration forms, visit the website at www.thehighground.org.
