Vietnam War photos display
Civilian Photographer Robert Ellison’s Vietnam War photos are being displayed at The Highground’s Learning Center throughout February, 2011. The 34 portraits were previously displayed at Madison’s Veteran’s Museum. Ellison attempted to give an honest look at the war and was killed with 49 Marines when the C-123 they were flying in was shot down in 1968. A scrapbook Ellison’s father and sister made is also on display at the Learning Center, which is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. (Photo by Peter Spicer/Clark County Press)
