WWII benches dedicated at Highground

The Family of Clifford Harmon (above) posed next to a World War II bench dedicated in his honor at The Highground Sept. 12.  Harmon was a World War II veteran, porch greeter at The Highground on weekends and a Highground Hero. Six benches were dedicated Sept. 12.  The Kanyusik family dedicated the bench (below on left) honoring Stephen and Doris Kanyusik, who reside in Sterling Heights, MI.  Stephen Kanyusik is a World War II veteran who designed the globe on the World War II Tribute at The Highground.  The Harmon bench is on the right (below).
