Mr. Imislund: "Ethel, it is stated in the topic about Joseph Cannon that he kept the tariff up by day and his anti up at night. Explain this." Ethel Loberg: "He was in favor of the tariff being raised and he was very fond of playing poker; sometimes he made so much noise that he kept his Auntie up at night." Mr. Imislund: "What was the Mayflower Compact?"
Mr. Imislund: "What did Washington desire to do after the Revolution?" Ethel: "Drift down the tide of life and land where his ancestors ought to be." "Lives of football stars remind us, We should fight to win the race, And departing leave behind us. Footprints on the rivals’ face." Mr. Olson: "Where’s that dollar watch of yours Elliot?" Elliot: "Why that stopped when I stopped." Mr. Olson: "If it ran when you did it never ran."

The Owen football game was a great success.
It showed Owen that Neillsville had school spirit as well as a football team. It helped the merchants of Neillsville. Yah. Most everybody needed new clothes. And the football men had to take baths.
