Thorp Township Land Patents

1866-1884

Compiler Note: This Table of Land Patents is based on some 50 "Land Patents" obtained from the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands in Madison which cover the period 1866 - 1884.  However, these are a mere drop in the bucket of land ownership in TWP Thorp for that period. The table below reflects the owners and property descriptions from the Land Patents. As expected, many parcels were owned by lumber companies.
