Lorraine was born in 1924 in Durand, WI, the oldest of four children, to Roy and Agnes (Harmon) Forster.  The family moved to a farm near Stanley, WI in 1927. She attended Eidsvold State Graded School but during high school, she decided to dedicate her life to teaching and entered Saint Rose Convent, Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration (FSPA) in La Crosse, taking her final vows in August 1944.  There she earned her teaching credentials – to include a Summa Cum Laude Medal and Certificate in Latin.  In 1958 she earned a Masters Degree in Chemistry at Notre Dame University.  Since 1945 she has dedicated her life - 58 years and counting – to teaching, guidance counseling and administration, mainly in high schools in Wisconsin, Iowa, Montana, Utah, Washington and Nevada.

We are enormously proud of Lorraine.  Her commitment to God and selfless dedication to education and counseling has touched families beyond count.  We thank her for so many years of service and wish her many more.  She is, after all, a “young” 82 and comes from “hardy stock”!
