BIOGRAPHY OF CYRIL C. CLARK

Cyril C. Clark

Mr. Clark was born at Troy, Iowa, in the year 1840, where he lived until he was fourteen years of age. He then went to Illinois and afterwards to Ohio. He enlisted in the 7th Ohio regiment in 1861 and served one year, and in 1862 he enlisted in the navy and served one year. He came to Wisconsin in 1865, and to his present location in the town of Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin in the year 1872, where he has since lived. He was married to Mary A. Edwards, of Blak River Falls in the year 1868. They have two children living.

Farm Residence of Cyril C. Clark (below)

The cut below is the farm residence of Mr. Clark, and is situated on a beautiful farm of 240 acres, fifty acres of which is under cultivatin, and the remainder being covered with valuable timber. Mr. Clark has been, and still is, engaged quite extensively in lumbering. He is one of the oldest settlers of the town of Thorp.
