On Tuesday, October 20, three representatives from Thorp High school, Brad Ceranski, Lori Ogle, and Becky Felmlee, attended the Wisconsin Promise Schools of Recognition Awards ceremony in Madison. Tony Evers, the State Superintendent, honored 138 schools at the ceremony, including Thorp High School, which accepted the award for the fourth consecutive year. The school brought back a plaque and $2,000 to use on any school-related activity.
