Music Director Retires

A luncheon honoring Irene Jasinski on her retirement from the duties as director of the music at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church in Lublin for 60+ years was held on Sunday, May 2, 2010, following the Liturgy, at the parish hall. Delicious food, gifts, congratulations and good wishes were the order of the day.  Irene participated in many Liturgies, weddings, funerals, and baptisms through the years beginning in the Slavonic languages and eventually translating to English, which they now use. She will continue to be a member of the group under new leadership
