On Monday, May 31, 2010, Memorial Day, the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Boy and Girl Scouts, and the Poppy Princesses marched to the tunes of the Thorp marching band in honor of the fallen men and women who fought for America’s freedom on Memorial Day. Beginning the parade at the American Legion, the group ended their march at the tank on south Washington Street where a crowd had gathered for the Memorial Day Service.
