Way Back When

This group of hardworking men looks like they’ve been working on the railroad. Does anyone know who these men were, or where the photo was taken?  Any clues on how old the photograph is?  Please let us know any information you have and we will pass it on to our readers.
 
 
In the September 17, 2008 issue, we featured a picture of four young men singing next to a piano. We received information from Stella Wilhelm, Leore Graski and Gene Wilhelm on the people in this photo.  The young men, from left to right are John Klouda, Jim Shaueres, Gene Wilhelm, and Don Soderberg.  Seated at the piano is Ingrid Lindquist.  The group, seniors in the class of 1958 from Thorp High School, sang as a quartet through much of high school. The photo was taken either at a Lions Club meeting or in the band room of the old Thorp High School. Thank you Stella, Gene and Leore for the information!
