Solomon Beach

Died January 15, 1891

The January 22, 1891 issue of the Republican and Press indicated that on June 15, 1891, Solomon Beach was found dead near his barn where he was doing chores.  The article indicated that a funeral service was held at the M.E. Church so it is presumed that he was buried in York Center Cemetery next to his wife, Luco Beach who had previously died on June 21, 1890.  Solomon Beach was the father of Walter Beach. The 1893 plat map for York Township shows a W. Beach owning land in Section 18.
