Mary Christie
April 5, 1860 - September 14, 1910
Born in Canada, Mary A. (nee McKimm) Christie was a daughter of Samuel and Isabella McKimm. The 1880 Clark County, York Township Census lists a Mary McKimm (19) as the daughter of S. and Isabella McKimm. The McKimm family were early pioneers of York Township. Clark County records indicate that Mary A. McKimm married James Christie in Neillsville, Wisconsin on May 7, 1884.[i]Per the September 29, 1910 issue of the Republican and Press, Mary Christie died in Superior, Wisconsin after undergoing an operation for goiter.
